It did not take long for Facebook to rip Elizabeth Warren’s campaign ads from its site after she made some remarks about big tech. She recently talked about how big and powerful these corporations had become. Warren suggested that big tech companies like Apple and Facebook should be subject to US anti-trust laws and subsequently broken up.
After having pulled Warren’s ads, the social media giant has since put them back up on their site. Speculation abounds that Facebook backtracked, because employees began to think that pulling them proved her point about how big and powerful they had become.
