Tesla Cybertruck Unveil | Victor Takacs
Ladies and gentlemen – without further adieu: Here she is! Live from the Tesla Design Studio in Hawthorne, CA (also home to SpaceX), CEO Elon Musk put on quite a show that began at 8:00 PM on the night of Thursday, November 21, 2019. It was the new Tesla Cybertruck Unveil. The first of its kind, Musk plans to have it available for sale by late 2021. Its design, according to Musk, can be described as being cyberpunk. It’s definitely a different look, as you can see by the photos that have been posted here.
It’s not the cleanest or sleekest look for a vehicle, but it may serve as the prototype for a design that remains with us for years to come. It’s bold and attention grabbing at first. However in the long run I suppose for many, its style and design will be accepted as an acquired taste as time goes by. This is of course until its look becomes more prevalent and is more normalized. Right now, it does not look normal to many people, including me. I’m not a fan of the design at all, but like everyone else, it’s not a design I’m used to seeing. The presentation (Tesla Cybertruck Unveil) itself was more attractive than the truck.
The basic model of the Tesla Cybertruck will have one motor and will carry a price tag of $39,900. Moreover a full electric charge will give it a driving distance of 250 miles. In addition it will have a tow rating of 7,500 pounds, and a 0 to 60 mph time of 6.5 seconds. The dual motor Tesla Cybertruck will have a sticker price of $49,000. This particular model will be able to tow 10,000 pounds and will also be able to reach 60 mph in 4.5 seconds. It will be able to travel 300 miles before it needs a charge. The most expensive model of the new Tesla Cybertruck will be priced at $69,900. It will have the ability to go 500 miles before a new charge is necessary. It will also be able to quickly reach 60 miles per hour in under 60 seconds and tow up to 14,000 pounds. To see some clips of the Tesla Cybertruck Unveil, take a look at the montage below:
