Death is all too fleeting, and like a thief in the night, it can manifest itself in shocking surprise. On the other hand, it can come less surprisingly amid vigilance and expectation but still be just as equally shocking. Death can bring severe grief that in time hopefully turns into understanding and serenity. When we lose good people here on this earth, we may question the Lord. Moreover we may even have our faith shaken a bit. Time does help, but often to a greater extent, so too does faith. Prayer is key. Lines of communication between us and our Savior in Paradise can help us to restore the feelings of loss we feel.

As we all know, death is a reality that the majority of people try not to think about. Although most refuse to admit it, we oftentimes fear it, both for ourselves and our loved ones. In particular as parents, we’re always striving to protect our children so as to keep them out of harm’s way. One of the most unimaginable and heartbreaking things that can happen to a parent is the loss of a child, especially when it occurs on the other side of the world in a war torn region and at the hands of brutal captors. This was the unfortunate reality Kayla Mueller’s parents were faced with.

Mr. and Mrs. Mueller’s daughter lost her life at the young age of 26 after she was abducted by ISIS while visiting Syria in hopes of assisting in noble efforts to bring humanitarian aid to the refugees there who desperately needed it. Kayla was held captive by ISIS for approximately two years before she died. To this day her cause of death remains unknown. ISIS claims she perished in a Jordanian airstrike, but confirmation of that claim has never been made. In the years that came after Kayla’s death, her parents were made aware of chilling details about her captivity. Eyewitnesses to the brutality she endured included other women who were also held against their will and in captivity with Kayla. These women said that she was raped by al-Baghdadi countless times. Furthermore they claimed that all ten of her fingernails were ripped off of her fingers with pliers. Through it all, they stated, Kayla stayed strong and optimistic. She died an American hero, as she was on a quest to bring goodness to an area of the world ravaged by evil. Hence the reason the mission to take out al-Baghdadi was named for her and her legacy.

The Washington Post’s reaction to our Delta Force heroes’ take down of Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi is appalling. Lest we forget that this liberal rag is the same paper that came up with a cute slogan for itself just after the inauguration of the 45th President of the United States, Donald J. Trump. What is perhaps more obvious than an Adam Schiff lie is that the slogan was indeed created in response to our new president taking office. The connotation here is that President Trump cloaks himself, his staff, and his policies in darkness, thus creating an affront or threat to American democracy. If you’re a living, breathing human being with a brain, it’s quite easy to see that nothing could in fact be further from the truth. Trump is one of the most transparent presidents we’ve ever had. The guy literally says exactly what he’s doing, what’s on his mind, etc. He levels with the American people, which is one reason he was elected.

The cold hard truth is that democracy dies in hatred, and I can prove it to you. Perhaps the Washington Post is onto something. Hatred is darkness. These sycophants hate the President so much that they stop at nothing to drive a narrative that spins everything he does, even his numerous successes. Over the weekend US Delta Forces in Syria literally led an operation that ultimately brought an end to the life of one of the world’s most dangerous men. Psychotic and obsessive lunatic reporters at the Washington Post couldn’t bare to see the President gain even an inkling of popularity or favorability. Therefore they scrambled and ultimately came up with a headline that is bizarre beyond all telling. It read “Austere Religious Scholar at Helm of Islamic State Dies at 48.” What a pathetic headline to be published as if it were in the Washington Post Obituaries. Unbelievable!

Just when you think you’ve seen it all, you ain’t seen nothin yet. The Washington Post hates Donald Trump so much that they are willing to elevate the world’s most wanted man, a terrorist responsible for the deaths of untold thousands, so as to downplay the potential perception that the President scored a victory. Never mind the fact that Kayla Mueller suffered for two years and eventually lost her life because of this disgusting person. The utter disrespect is incomprehensible.

It’s important to remember that this is one of the media outlets being fed leaks about the fake impeachment inquiry on a daily basis by Adam Schiff and the democrats in the House. The Washington Post is working in tandem with these reprobates to try and fool the American public into thinking the President is some kind of criminal. In the end, the ultimate goal here is to drive down Trump’s poll numbers leading up to the Election of 2020. It’s all being driven by hate, not reality. This is a coup d’etat attempt based on lies and subversion. It’s alarming and should have every American up in arms. Undoing the will of the people who elected this president based on false pretenses is the stuff of dictatorships. It’s completely un-American. Moreover it’s nothing more than a sick attempt to damage democracy here in this country.

In conclusion, the Washington Post has a slogan that portrays them as the guardians of democracy, but nothing could be further from the truth. Democracy does die in darkness. Darkness is hatred. If headlines elevating the statuses of terrorists are born out of hatred and the media outlet that creates these headlines is participating in perpetuating lies in an attempt to drive a duly elected president from office, it’s high time that media outlet look in the mirror. The Washington Post Obituaries should add one more name to their list: The Washington Post, because journalism is dead, and they helped kill it.
