It’s Veto Time! | Victor Takacs

Today twelve RINO (Republican in Name Only) Senators betrayed their president. They voted in favor of a resolution to block the National Emergency that allows President Trump to build the fence on the southern border. There is no question about the fact that these Republicans are defunct in their ability to properly understand the Constitution of the United States.

The National Emergencies Act of 1976 allows the President of the United States to do what is necessary during emergency situations in order to protect the American people and the homeland. Passed by the Ninety-Fourth Congress and subsequently signed into law by President Ford, it is indeed law. According to Article 1 of the Constitution of the United States, the Congress has the power to make laws. According to Article 2 of the United States Constitution, the President has the power to sign into law (approve) or veto (reject) bills that have been approved by both houses of Congress.

All Senate Democrats, alongside twelve RINOs as was previously mentioned, voted for this resolution to block the National Emergency to build the fence. Some of these lawmakers did this, because they say that the construction of a fence is an overreach of executive power. However that’s not what legal analysts are seeing. Here is what they are seeing:

The United States Congressional Record | Library of Congress

The above excerpt is from the Library of Congress’ Congressional Record. Behold. There it is,  plain as day, highlighted for your viewing pleasure. This is a portion of the text of [USC03] 10 USC 284, a section of the National Emergencies Act of 1976. As you can see, the President of the United States is well within his purview to build a border fence. Every single senator who voted in favor of this resolution today has officially proven their constitutional stupidity to the American People. This resolution will be dead on arrival at the White House. President Trump will veto it, and Congress does not have the numbers necessary to override the veto. This will be the first veto of the Trump Administration, and it is expected to occur tomorrow, March 15th.

IT SURE WOULD BE NICE IF LAWMAKERS ACTUALLY KNEW THE LAW!!!
